Make Music Winter

In this immersive soundwalk, percussionist Wesley Fowler and colleagues from Boston Conservatory at Berklee create a gong experience to ring in the Winter Solstice. Over the course of an hour, audiences will experience the natural crescendo and decrescendo of each gong as they walk the pathways of the Greenway, and feel the vibrations of a new season.

This event is part of Make Music Winter, a free outdoor musical celebration held each December 21 that turns audiences into music makers. Make Music Winter began in New York City in 2011 and has since spread to over two dozen cities across the country, transforming cityscapes with musical parades on the winter solstice.
