Dancing on The Greenway with the Folk Arts Center of New England

The Folk Arts Center has been presenting outdoor participatory dance programs in Boston since the mid-1960s, and they are thrilled that this program is on the roster of sensational Rose Kennedy Greenway events this summer!

“Dancing on the Greenway” is an eight-week FREE series on Tuesday nights beginning July 11.  Each week will feature a different type of dancing, taught by highly respected leaders, to the strains of either superb musicians or classic, traditional recordings.
Genres we are presenting include: Cape Breton music and dancing, Irish and English ceilidh nights, New England contras and squares, Middle Eastern dancing and performances, and international dancing from a variety of countries.
Come enjoy the fun and continue this six decade tradition on the Greenway this summer!
