Plan an Event

The Greenway Conservancy works with a variety of partners and organizations and typically hosts over 400 events annually!

Event Planning Steps

  1. Fully review our Park Use Guidelines, which cover park rules, fees, and event information. 
  2. To apply for an event, please complete the Conservancy’s required Event Planning Form at least 30 days prior to the proposed event date.
  3. The Conservancy strives to respond to event applications within 10 business days of receiving the application. We will reach out to request additional information and/or to schedule a site visit.
  4. If your event is accepted, the Conservancy works closely with you as a partner, finalizing an event agreement, usage fees, layouts, and insurance needs. The event organizer must obtain any needed City of Boston permits, which may take 30-60 days to obtain.

Please Keep in Mind
The Greenway is a valued space for the public. The Conservancy looks for events and programs that are free and open to the public and that underscore our responsibilities as a public park. We generally do not accept proposals for fundraisers or for private events.
