Going to Ground: Brick-Making Party

Come make bricks (and art) with us!

Join The Greenway Public Art Team for a soil brick-making party and workshop through which participants can get their hands dirty, learn the process of making adobe bricks from soil, and work together in teams to create 4-6 bricks that will be used for the foundation of artist LaRissa Rogers’ public sculpture, Going to Ground.

Snacks and music will be provided, as well as project posters and stickers. The sculpture and bricks will be installed on The Greenway in August 2024.

Participation is free, but spots are limited. Folks can sign-up and reserve a spot via Eventbrite beginning Wednesday, June 5. Eventbrite links will be posted to The Greenway calendar event page and to our social media account (@greenwaypublicart).
