POSTPONED: Going to Ground: Brick-Making Party

Come make adobe bricks (and art) with us! If you have previously registered for the August 15 postponed date, you are welcome to join the Public Art Team for the postponed workshop on Saturday, August 17 from 2:00pm-5:00pm. Join The Greenway Public Art Team and artist LaRissa Rogers for a soil brick-making party and workshop. Participants will get their hands dirty, learn the process of making adobe bricks from soil, and work together in teams to create 4-6 bricks that will be used to activate Rogers’ public sculpture, Going to Ground. 

Snacks and music will be provided, as well as project posters and stickers. The bricks will be utilized in activations of the sculpture, which will be on view at The Greenway starting in late August 2024.
