Volunteering can be a great way to build teamwork, foster relationships, and give back to your community! Between April to December, we partner with groups to accomplish both horticulture and maintenance projects that keep our park looking beautiful. 

2026 Group Volunteer Calendar

Please email volunteer@rosekennedygreenway.org to be added to the mailing list so you can receive our volunteer calendar as soon as it is released.

Interested in receiving priority access to the calendar? Sponsors of our Gala on The Greenway and Glow in the Park events receive the calendar before our general release.

Projects

Volunteer tasks are determined based on current park needs. Here is an example of some volunteer activities:

• Common gardening tasks: weeding, raking, mulching, pruning, edging etc.
• Maintenance tasks: evening out stone dust paths, cleaning park benches, weeding around pavers in the park
• Trash Pick Up

Corporate Engagement Fee

Corporate volunteer groups provide an engagement fee to help cover the costs of planning and executing our volunteer events and to support the non-profit Greenway Conservancy. 

2026 Volunteer Engagement Fees:

$1,500 for up to 10 volunteers

$2,500 for 11-20 volunteers
