Tango by Moonlight is one of Boston’s oldest public dance event. It is a free event open to the public. We begin with a brief impromptu lesson for 20 minutes, followed by general dancing to recorded music. The event starts at 3pm and lasts until 6pm. No partner is necessary. This event is sponsored by Dance Union, formerly the Tango Society of Boston, an organization dedicated to the promotion and support of Argentine Tango. Tango by Moonlight, featured in WGBH and WCVB’s Chronicle, began in 1997. We are proud to collaborate with the Rose Kennedy Greenway for our 32nd season. The event will take place at one of the Greenway’s venues on the 2nd Saturday of each month between June and October with the exception of September.
