Rediscover The Greenway Programmatic Series

The Greenway Conservancy is delighted to announce the Rediscover The Greenway Programmatic Series, a collection of 50+ new programs for the 2021 Greenway Season supported and funded by the Greenway Business Improvement District (BID).

Rediscover The Greenway will both activate the downtown core as workers and tourists return to Boston, and support community arts activations that will bring people together in support of organizations that have had a very difficult year. Through a boosted engagement and events program, the Conservancy and BID will enliven The Greenway and bring vibrancy to Boston’s downtown  as our city continues to safely reopen. 

  • Celebrate Chinatown, with Lion Dance performances parading through the streets in a new weekly tradition weekly on Saturdays from mid-July through September in Auntie Kay & Uncle Frank Chin Park at noon. These events are possible with the support of Chinatown Main Street, the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association of New England, the Chinatown Business Association, and the City of Boston.

    Featuring a quartet of professional singers at the Greenway Carousel, two of which are NEMPAC faculty members, passersby will be serenaded with classic holiday carols that we all know and love!     • Marcus “Cus” Campbell – Marcus, (better known as) “CusCampbell”, is a trombonist originally from Boston, Massachusetts who has already made a significant impact online as a versatile and highly skilled trombonist, producer, artist, and composer. CusCampbell began making hip-hop cover videos primarily for his Instagram during his freshman year at Berklee College of Music and it was an immediate success. In only a few years CusCampbell has received praise online from artists such as Big Sean, Russ, Joyner Lucas, All Time Low, Mike Stud, Marc E Bassy, Arizona Zervas and many more. Over the years “CusCampbell” has studied with Wycliffe Gordon and Marshall Gilkes, both two of the top ranked jazz trombonists in the world. While at Berklee, CusCampbell also studied with grammy-nominated artist and accomplished educator Tia Fuller who also played alongside Beyoncé in her all-female band.

    • Shantel C. – Shantel is a young and ambitious upcoming Cape Verdean-American artist born and raised in Dorchester, Boston MA. Only a sophomore at the Berklee College of Music, she is one of the most active performers in the Cape Verdean community within the United States. Respected alongside established Cape Verdean artists, Shantel’s abilities allow her to share the stage and status with various decorated artists in her genre, including Gil Semedo, Elida Almeida, and Cordas do Sol, to name a few. Starting in 2018, she began learning and performing songs in Cape Verdean Creole, the langauge of her roots, for the first time and fell in love with the music of her culture. Performing all over the Cape Verdean diaspora in Boston, Brockton, and Providence, Shantel uses her dual identity to spread awareness to and convey the beauty that lies within the story of her Cape Verdean people.

  • Each week, children will sing songs, dance to music, and take part in musical games led by Boston Music Project teaching artists Sebastien Ridore and Christopher Hernandez. Caregivers are encouraged to attend and take part in the music activities with their children. When registering on Eventbrite, caregivers should select tickets for both themselves and their child/children. Bring your bathing suit and enjoy the iconic Ring Fountain before or after your class!

    Music and Movement sessions will be 25 minutes long and take place on the half-hour from 4p to 5p on August 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, and 31st.

    Sébastien Ridoré

    Sébastien Ridoré is a young artist from Stoneham, Massachusetts. His music education began with the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras. He attended high school at Buckingham Browne and Nichols and studied Music Performance and Business at Gettysburg College. He’s primary instrument is the viola and while at Gettysburg, Sébastien also studied Latin percussion. In school, Sébastien was principal violist in the Gettysburg Symphony Orchestra and he performed with a jazz, funk and hip-hop group called Dispatch. Sébastien also spent time in the Dominican Republic learning and performing with local artists. While there, he led a group of students through the country to learn about social justice issues. Since graduating college in May 2019, he has worked with programs such as the Community Music Center of Boston and the Intensive Community Program. Sébastien is a passionate learner and educator who seeks to infuse local culture within the classroom to create enjoyable and relevant environments.

    Christopher Hernandez

    Christopher Hernandez is a proud multi-genre multi-instrumentalist and educator based in Boston, MA. Christopher specializes in low strings and fretted instruments, but is capable of playing and teaching many others. As a performer, Christopher is highly sought after in the Boston Metropolitan area. His expertise in Classical, Jazz, Latin and America-Urban music help him to push his colleagues and students into unique performance opportunities. His work in education is balanced across Cambridge Public Schools, The Boston Music Project, El Sistema Somerville, and The Veronica Robles Cultural Center, amongst others. In addition, Christopher is a member of the Massachusetts Teachers Association, El Sistema USA, The International Society of Bassists, as well as the Suzuki Association of the Americas. Christopher earned his Bachelor of Music in Music Education from The Hartt School in 2019, and is currently working towards a Master of Music in Music Education at the Longy School of Music of Bard College in Cambridge, MA.

    • Bengisu Gokce – Turkish born and raised, Bengisu Gokce is a multi-genre violinist and singer, known for combining in her music the Turkish roots with Eastern-European and Middle-Eastern traditions. As a professionally renowned & award-winning performer, Gokce’s versatile playing has led her to share the stage with several music icons including Mark O’Connor, Tigran Hamasyan, Aynur Dogan, Shreya Ghoshal, Toninho Horta, Shankar Mahadevan, Simon Shaheen, Amal Murkus, and Pablo Ziegler. She has also performed in various distinguished venues such as Carnegie Hall (NY), Lincoln Center (NY), Boston Symphony Hall, American Repertory Theatre, MFA Boston, Roulette Intermedium (NY), Shapeshifter Lab (NY) and Monte Carlo Salle Garnier (Monaco). Gokce is a classically trained violinist and a performance alumna of Mersin University State Conservatory in Turkey, ‘Hanns Eisler’ School of Music in Berlin, Germany and Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.
    • Kathryn Pappalardo -Violinist Kathryn Pappalardo keeps an active performing schedule, appearing regularly as a chamber musician and orchestra member with ensembles across New England. She has performed at music festivals in Germany and Italy. Kathryn holds a Bachelor of Music from The Hartt School (CT), and is in the process of completing a Graduate Performance Diploma at Boston Conservatory at Berklee (MA).
    • Josh Wareham – Josh Wareham is a Boston-based violist, music producer, and songwriter. As a violist, he has performed with groups such as the Boston Philharmonic, Rhode Island Philharmonic, Lucerne Festival Alumni, Albany Symphony, Boston Festival Orchestra, JACK Quartet, Philadelphia’s SoundLAB ensemble, and Palaver Strings. His debut album “Chances” and its follow-up “Time” were released in 2020 and 2021, featuring original music for viola combined with hip-hop, electronic, pop, rock, and classical influences. Both projects can be heard on all major streaming platforms. As a producer, he has worked on content for a wide variety of individual artists, as well as organizations such as Shelter Music Boston, Aston Magna Music Festival, Bach Beethoven & Brahms Society, Rasa String Quartet, and the Boston Music Project. Josh holds a Master of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music, and a Bachelor of Music degree from St. Olaf College.
    • Minjin Chung – Minjin Chung is a cellist based in Boston who enjoys an active career as a performer and educator. Praised by the Boston Music Intelligencer for her “beautiful sweeping melody played with grace” she has appeared in the top concert halls in the world such as Carnegie Hall, Symphony Hall, Jordan Hall, and the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts. She is an avid performer of new music and has premiered countless new works throughout her years as a student and in her professional career. She is the cellist of the Juventas New Music Ensemble which has been regularly featured in the Boston Globe as a critic’s pick. As an orchestral player, she has attended the Aspen Music Festival as a New Horizon Fellow and has performed with the Sinfonia da Camera, Boston Philharmonic Orchestra and the New World Symphony. As a soloist, she has received awards from the Richmond Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition, Virginia Lions Club Bland Music Competition, Virginia String Teachers Association Solo Competition, and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Concerto Competition. Born in South Korea, Ms. Chung moved to the U.S. at the age of 5 and grew up in Blacksburg, Virginia where she began her musical studies. Upon falling madly in love with classical music at the age of 17, she graduated from high school a year early to focus on preparing for music school auditions. She was awarded a full tuition scholarship to attend the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as a student of Dmitry Kouzov and received her master’s degree at the New England Conservatory as a student of Natasha Brofsky.

    • Natalie Boberg – Violinist Natalie Boberg is a versatile soloist, chamber, and orchestral musician. Her playing has been noted by Vijay Gupta of Street Symphony and the LA Philharmonic as, “Beautifully personal, with instincts that are so on.” Natalie made her debut as a soloist with the Utah Symphony in 2018, performing Mark O’Connor’s Double Violin Concerto with Maestro Connor Covington. Natalie has also appeared as a soloist with the Colburn Chamber Orchestra alongside Anne Akiko Meyers and with the Gifted Music School Chamber Orchestra. Her summer endeavors include time spent at the Aspen Music Festival and School, Meadowmount School of Music, BU Tanglewood Institute, and Interlochen Center for the Arts. Additionally, Natalie trained vocally for nine years in the Los Angeles Children’s Chorus. Natalie’s mission is to share engaging musical experiences and the art of the violin with the world. She is particularly excited about contemporary music and collaborating with living composers and artists on new music projects. Alongside her work on the stage, Natalie maintains a studio of violin students, most recently as a Teaching Artist at the Boston Music Project.

    • Ethan Gueldenzopf – Ethan Gueldenzopf is originally from Hudson Valley, New York. He enjoys playing drum set for a variety of settings including pit orchestras, jazz combos, and in a metal band. He graduated from the Hartt School with a degree in Music Production and uses his training to record drum tracks for independent artists around the country. Ethan is thrilled to be a part of the Boston Music Project!
    • Miguel Landestoy – Keyboard Miguel Landestoy is a jazz artist, music educator and arts administrator in the Greater Boston area. As an artist, he aims to strengthen the interconnectivity of music to the community by co-creating performance opportunities throughout the city and beyond. Playing venues including Wally’s Café Jazz Club, Virtuosity Jazz Session and Jordan Hall, Miguel is always looking for the next step in his sound. Miguel is currently working towards his Masters in Contemporary Improvisation at New England Conservatory.

    • Zack Bacak –For 5 years, Zack spent his formative years at Florida State University, receiving degrees in music education and music performance. While in Tallahassee, he was able to meet and perform with artists and groups such as Carmen Bradford (The Count Basie Orchestra), Ana Gasteyer (Saturday Night Live), and the Tallahassee Jazz Symphony Orchestra. It was through these experience that led him into the role of a bandleader, performing original music and arrangements throughout the state. Following his graduation, Zack was selected as a member of the 2017 Disney All-American College Band in Anaheim, California. Since then, he spent the next few years touring and performing with a variety of talent that includes John Clayton, Networks Productions, and the Springfield Pops Orchestra. When not performing, Zack is an avid educator. In addition to leading a private studio, he is the founder and director of the Summer Jazz Workshop at the Hopkinton Arts Center. He currently leads groups like the Zack Bacak Big Band, a compositional project featuring a variety of artists.

    • Peter Paetkau – Peter Paetkau, violinist, is a founding member of the chamber music collective, “Analog By Choice” and a recent graduate of the Longy School of Music where he studied with Anna Williams. He has performed in a variety of venues across the Americas and Europe also attending festivals including the Cremona International Music Festival and the Longy Divergent Studio. He has performed with various ensembles where he held principal positions and is an avid chamber musician focusing on well-known and under-represented composers. Paetkau has worked in a variety of El Sistema-inspired educational settings where his passion for music as an emotional and communicative art drives both his teaching and performing practice.

    • Ghassan Sawalhi – Ghassan Sawalhi is a Palestinian singer/songwriter, producer, audio engineer, composer, arranger & Oudist. He joined the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music in Palestine in 2003 to begin his journey with the Oud. Eight years later, he co-founded the ‘Bil3aX’ band for contemporary and alternative music. In 2017, Sawalhi graduated with honours from the esteemed Berklee College of Music with a bachelors of Music Production and Engineering. In 2019 he created the persona of El Ärkitekt; an Arabic rapper/writer & singer/songwriter that focused in the beginning on tackling social and political issues of the Arab world. It later evolved to include more personal and generally relatable subjects.
    • Tareq Rantisi – Tareq Rantisi is a world percussionist, composer, and educator. Initially self-taught in Arabic percussion, he received a B.A. in Performance from Berklee College of Music in 2011 and a Master’s from the Berklee Global Jazz Institute in 2019. His varied experience has brought him into deep dialogue with jazz, Afro-Cuban, Indian, West African, Brazilian, and other traditions that continue to transform his approach to music and performing. Tareq has developed a wide body of educational work, offering master classes, workshops, and private lessons in collaboration with Arabic Music Retreat, Brandeis University, The Center for Arabic Culture, NAFDA. He lives in Boston and performs throughout the world.

    • Nathanial Taylor – African-American/Filipino cellist, Nathaniel Taylor, has captivated audiences with his passionate and charismatic playing, and is quickly establishing himself as a formidable artist of the 21st Century. Mr. Taylor has been a prize winner of many leading regional and national competitions including Grand Prize at the 2016 Massachusetts-ASTA Masters Competition, and first prize in the 2017 Boston Conservatory Concerto Competition. In addition, Nathaniel was a Performance Fellow with the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, and a two-time Fellow at the Tanglewood Music Center. For five years, Nathaniel was also the recipient of a cello on long term loan generously awarded by the Amati Foundation. As a soloist, Nathaniel made his orchestral debut in 2016 as soloist with the Boston Conservatory Orchestra that was met with rave reviews. Since then, he has appeared as soloist with the Lexington Symphony (MA), and the Orchestra of Indian Hill (MA) where he worked alongside conductors, Jonathan McPhee and Bruce Hangen, respectively. In addition, he has been featured as soloist with the conductorless chamber orchestra, Hemenway Strings. In 2020, Nathaniel was invited to perform the African-American spiritual, “Nobody Knows de Trouble I See” alongside Yo-Yo Ma that was featured at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s Gala, “Sounds of Celebrations: an Evening with the CSO.” In 2021, Mr. Taylor has performed with the acclaimed chamber ensembles, A Far Cry, and Palaver Strings. Mr. Taylor completed his formal studies at Boston Conservatory at Berklee where he received the prestigious Artist Diploma in 2020. His teachers have included the renowned cellists Rhonda Rider, Patrice Tilghman-Jackson, Astrid Schween, and Steven Honigberg.
    • Job Salazar-Fonseca – Job Salazar-Fonseca, violinist, is a former member in the Monterrey Symphony Orchestra (OSUANL) and Opera Nuevo Leon, and previous Violin Faculty at the Music Department of the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon (UANL). He has also been showcased in the Chamber Music Festival of Nuevo Leon, Festival Internacional de Música Mexicana, CONARTE, KBYU Radio, Radio Nuevo Leon. He currently performs with The Unitas Ensemble, Harvard Baroque Chamber Orchestra, Crescendo, American Baroque Orchestra, Portland Bach Experience, The Oriana Consort and The Halfmoon. Job is also on the faculty at The Powers Music School. He holds degrees from BYU-Idaho, The Boston Conservatory at Berklee and The Longy School of Music of Bard College.

    • Aija Rēķe – Aija Rēķe is a violinist, chamber musician, composer, concert presenter, and pedagogue. She graduated from Boston University (MM, 2015) under Dana Mazurkevich, with a CFA Full Tuition Scholarship, and Rotterdam Conservatory (BM, 2013) in the Netherlands under Benzion Shamir. Aija won the Solo Bach Competition at Boston University (2014), is a member of Pi Kappa Lambda, American National Music Honor Society (since 2015), and is a recipient of the Boston Latvian Cultural Heritage award (2014). She has performed extensively in Europe and North America as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral musician. Aija performs regularly with ALEA III – Contemporary Music Ensemble in Residence at Boston University, the Boston Modern Orchestra Project, and Odyssey Opera. Her Baltic Duo performed in the USA and Latvia, premiering and popularizing rare Baltic compositions. As a passionate teacher, Aija has taught in the Boston Music Project youth development program, Brookline Public Schools, the El Sistema program, and also in private schools. In 2021, she led an international masterclass sponsored by the U.S. Embassy in Rīga, Latvia in Ventspils Music High School in Latvia. As a composer, her Meditation-Prayer was published in 2019 by Musica Baltica (Edition Peters). As a presenter, Aija co-founded the High Street Concert Series at the Latvian Lutheran Church of Boston and serves as Artist Director. Her collaboration with several composers led to multiple world premieres, including microtonal Musings (2013) for violin solo by Lara Poe, Double Images (2017) by Ketty Nez, Latvian in New York (2017) by Mārīte Dombrovska (dedicated to the Baltic Duo) and Dawn (2018) by Jānis Porietis (dedicated to the Baltic Duo). Aija also commissioned a Violin Concerto from Lara Poe and received a dedication from John Manuel Pacheco for his Second Violin Sonata. One of her great passions is advocating for and popularizing lesser-known repertoire and composers from the Baltic states. Aija Rēķe started her musical education in Tukums, Latvia with Dace ŠplīteLisova and later at Em. Dārziņš Music school in Rīga with Romāns Šnē and Andris Baumanis. She also studied extensively with Anete Zvaigzne in Latvia and Oleksandr Semchuk and Ilya Grubert in masterclasses in Italy. Aija Rēķe released her debut album “Latvian Reflections” in July 2021 under the label “Spice Classics”.
    • Agita Arista – Flutist Agita Arista was born and received her musical education in Latvia. In 2004 Mrs. Arista earned her Master’s degree in Chamber Music performance and in 2001 she received her Bachelor degree in flute performance chamber music, orchestral performance, and music education from the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music (Rīga, Latvia) where she studied with professor Jānis Maļeckis (chamber music) and Professor Vilnis Strautiņš (flute). From 1999-2000 Mrs. Arista studied flute with professor Carlo Jans at the Conservatoire of Luxembourg. Agita has continued to perfect her flute and chamber music skills under professor Craig Goodman (France), Ms. Annet Joffoldi (Hungary), professor William Bennett (UK), and Mr. Robert Stallman (USA). In 2015 she was presented The Latvian Heritage Foundation of Boston Oscars Award for showcasing Latvian music in the United States and abroad. Agita Arista recorded “Dawn” by Jānis Porietis which was released in the album “Latvian Reflections” under the label “Spice Classics”.

    • Immei Wong, Violin – Immei Wong is a passionate musician, music educator and ballroom dancing enthusiast. Originally from Macau, she graduated from The Boston Conservatory with a Masters Degree in Violin Performance and Music Education.  She has been a teaching artist at the Berklee Institute for Arts Education and Special Needs since 2015. As an orchestral player, she is an active member at Boston Civic Symphony and New England Philharmonic.  She also participated in orchestras for many performances in Macau, such as Macau Youth Symphony Orchestra (MYSO) and Macau Virtuosi . She participated in many performances around the world with MYSO, such as Austria, Australia, France, Portugal, and Mainland China.  Immei is an experienced teacher who believes all children are capable of musical learning, regardless of their diverse abilities.  As a musician and a teacher, she strives to bring out the musical talents of her students and provide them with a safe and joyful learning environment.
    • Bengisu Gokce, Violin – Turkish born and raised, Bengisu Gokce is a multi-genre violinist and singer, known for combining in her music the Turkish roots with Eastern-European and Middle-Eastern traditions. As a professionally renowned & award-winning performer, Gokce’s versatile playing has led her to share the stage with several music icons including Mark O’Connor, Tigran Hamasyan, Aynur Dogan, Shreya Ghoshal, Toninho Horta, Shankar Mahadevan, Simon Shaheen, Amal Murkus, and Pablo Ziegler. She has also performed in various distinguished venues such as Carnegie Hall (NY), Lincoln Center (NY), Boston Symphony Hall, American Repertory Theatre, MFA Boston, Roulette Intermedium (NY), Shapeshifter Lab (NY) and Monte Carlo Salle Garnier (Monaco). Gokce is a classically trained violinist and a performance alumna of Mersin University State Conservatory in Turkey, ‘Hanns Eisler’ School of Music in Berlin, Germany and Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.
    • Sébastien Ridoré, Viola – Sébastien Ridoré is a young artist from Stoneham, Massachusetts. His music education began with the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras. He attended high school at Buckingham Browne and Nichols and studied Music Performance and Business at Gettysburg College. He’s primary instrument is the viola and while at Gettysburg, Sébastien also studied Latin percussion. In school, Sébastien was principal violist in the Gettysburg Symphony Orchestra and he performed with a jazz, funk and hip-hop group called Dispatch. Sébastien also spent time in the Dominican Republic learning and performing with local artists. While there, he led a group of students through the country to learn about social justice issues. Since graduating college in May 2019, he has worked with programs such as the Community Music Center of Boston and the Intensive Community Program. Sébastien is a passionate learner and educator who seeks to infuse local culture within the classroom to create enjoyable and relevant environments.
    • Matthew Henegan, Cello – Cellist, teaching artist, and arts administrator Matthew Henegan recently completed the Bachelor of Music degree in Cello Performance from The Boston Conservatory. He is very passionate about music education, maintaining a private studio, teaching at The Boston Music Project, and teaching virtually at the In Tune Music School in New Jersey. He has performed as a cellist in many ensembles throughout Massachusetts and New Jersey, including the Boston Conservatory Symphony Orchestra, Apollo Ensemble of Boston, South Orange Symphony, and Society of Musical Arts Orchestra, to name a few. Henegan has taken cello studies with Andrew Mark, Alistair MacRae, Rhonda Rider, Cynthia Longley, and Scott Delello, and conducting studies with Bruce Hangen and Ken Lam. He is the recipient of the 2017 Cecelia Foundation Instrument Scholarship, and the 2017 New Jersey School Music Association Scholarship.

    • Grace Pehrman – Jake Baynes and Grace Pehrman have known each other throughout their time at Berklee and shared a mutual love for all things blues, rock, and jazz. They’ve been performing together for the last few months and are so excited to be able to share these fan favorites and standards with listeners.

    August 26th – Upbeat Rock/Singer-Songwriter Duo

    • Mom Rock – Mom Rock is a hard-hitting, upbeat rock band based in Boston, MA. Members Curtis Heimburger (Vocals/Acoustic Guitar), Josh Polack (Vocals/Electric Guitar), and Wilson Reardon (Drums) bonded in their first year studying at Berklee College of Music in 2018 over a mutual love for Weezer and later added Tara Maggiulli (Vocals/Bass), whom Josh met on a School of Rock AllStars tour in high school, to round out their lineup. Their sound is inspired by bands such as Cage the Elephant, Bleachers, and Catfish and the Bottlemen.  Mom Rock started making waves in 2019, now reaching over 2 million streams and 350k listeners on Spotify while cutting their teeth on the DIY music scene in Boston. In a short few years, they’ve gained a reputation for their electrifying performances consisting of their eclectic original songs and monochrome get-ups. Since then, they’ve shared the stage with the likes of Sports Team, Weakened Friends, and Adult Mom. Mom Rock has also been featured on channels such as Berklee of Music’s YouTube and Instagram pages as well as Alternative Press and Sound of Boston, and were voted winners of the Suburban Rose Magazine Internet Indie Awards. They’ve earned spots at festivals including Osheaga and The Rock Boat. Keep a close eye on them for singles and an EP to be released this summer!

    September 2nd – Pop/R&B Vocals & Guitar

    • Zami Buggs-King – Zami has been surrounded by music all of her life. Upon matriculating at the Philadelphia High School of Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA), Zami was able to stretch her perceptions of music and how they influence the world. Zami first discovered her love of contemporary song-writing at the Institute of Musical Arts (IMA) in Goshen, Massachusetts, where she deepened her skills in collaborative music-making, recording, and performance. These are skills that she was able to further explore during her time at Berklee College of Music. At Berklee, Zami quickly immersed herself in the worlds of live performance, songwriting and arranging, and has since grown into a well-rounded artist. As a musician who has also been academically driven in literature, history and the social sciences, she intends to deepen her knowledge of music and its relationship to history, culture, and society.

    • Martin Guas – Martin Guas is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from La Plata, Argentina. Surrounded by musicians and instruments in his parent’s music shop, he started his musical education when he was only three years old. Versatile on the guitar, the piano alongside his captivating voice, Martin Guas’ music and his lyrical writing are deeply rooted in Latin America’s folk. With contemporary productions influenced by his current environment in the United States, he brings his music to the present. Over the last few years, Martin has shared the stage and recorded with renowned musicians such as John Legend, Larry Klein, Natalia Lafourcade, Armando Manzanero, Kurt Elling, Javier Limón, and many others.

    • Chris Peters – Since 2012, Chris Peters has been building a reputation as a true visionary in the music scene. Starting out creating music and playing gigs in the Chicago Land area, Chris quickly built a devoted fanbase. As a current student at Berklee College of Music, this solo artist continues to draw crowds from far and wide, and spread musical light in every new destination.     September 23rd – Vocalist with Guitar

    • Stephània – Stephània is an Irish-Cypriot, Neo-soul/R&B singer-songwriter raised on the island of Cyprus and is currently based in Boston in the USA while she attends Berklee College of Music. Stephània draws inspiration from various sounds within the genres of Neo-soul, R&B, Pop and Funk. Artists like Michael Jackson, EW&F and Erykah Badu to name a few, would play in her household throughout her life all of which have deeply influenced her music.

    September 30th – Pop/Jazz Vocalist

    • elisheva – elishéva is a 21-year-old French-American singer/songwriter. Having originally sold her soul to jazz, elishéva has had a long recovery process into dark pop. She infuses different harmonic and melodic colors into her songwriting, keeping a little spice from her past life in the jazz world. Her biggest influences include Billie Eilish and Finneas. elishéva’s debut single “Bring Me Back” is officially out on all platforms!

    October 7th – Singer-Songwriter

    • Esperanza Delgado Esperanza is a professional singer-songwriter specializing in fusion of flamenco, R&B, and Pop in Spanish. She aims to bring the power of her performances to international audiences, recording in both, English and Spanish. Throughout the course of her musical career, Esperanza Delgado has won over the hearts of music lovers from all walks of life. Performing with a very rooted in Andalusian folklore music, she loves to fusion it with a huge variety of styles. Esperanza Delgado has been earning the admiration and affection of the audience since 2016 when she first appeared on the TV show The Voice, where she ended as a semifinalist.

    • Emi McSwain – Emi McSwain is an indie folk songwriter and pianist from Boston, Massachusetts. Currently studying songwriting at Berklee College of Music, she finds inspiration in life’s little things and her daily routine. Her music and songwriting style reflects the sounds of Gregory Alan Isakov, Tall Heights, Henry Jamison, Runnner, and Novo Amor.

    • Ava Sophia – Laid-back R&B feels and emotionally-driven honest lyrics are what define Boston-based singer/songwriter, Ava Sophia. In October 2019, Ava released her debut EP, “To See and Hear Hxrself”, a project dedicated to exploring the relationship between femininity and vulnerability, and empowering women/femmes of color to feel and express our emotions to the fullest extent. She was most recently nominated for “R&B Artist of the Year” at the 2020 Boston Music Awards. Her true passion and ambition are captured when she describes music to be “the only way I know how to make the world a better place”.

    • Leona Cheung (Collaborative Piano) – Leona Cheung is a Boston-based collaborative pianist. Her deep devotion to vocal-piano repertoire has brought her to perform extensively in many international festivals, including Aspen Music Festival, Oxford Lieder Festival, Leeds Lieder Festival, Toronto Summer Music Festival and Songfest. As a distinguished choral pianist, she has worked with Seraphic Fire, Handel and Haydn Society and Boston Children’s Chorus. She was a founding member and pianist with Cantoria Hong Kong, and can be heard on the Chinese choral music album entitled “Half Moon Rising”, presented by the Peters Edition. Leona earned her Master of Music and Graduate Diploma (Collaborative Piano) from the New England Conservatory.

    • violinviiv (Electric Violin) – Vivian Luo throws pop-up performances of pop, EDM and hip hop mixes & mashups in Boston public spaces. A classically trained contemporary violinist/DJ known as “violinviiv,” she also brings her high energy spirited performances to local weddings, hotel openings, corporate and private clients who appreciate her raw energy and unique spin on mainstream hits.

    • aznjujube ft Jeff La (Lo-fi Beats) – Inspired by the nostalgia of the early 2000’s AZN era, aznjujube is an experimental-pop project that incorporates live-looping, mandolin riffs, mountain noises, and lo-fi hip hop beats. Jeff La is a virtuosic dulcimerist who has been performing in the Boston Chinatown and surrounding areas since the 90s.
