What to Expect

Individual Horticulture Projects run monthly from April to December on Wednesday mornings from 9:00a-12:00p.  You will be working with a group of other volunteers doing common gardening tasks such as weeding, raking, mulching, planting, and pruning. No previous experience necessary!

The project locations are based on current park needs and may occur anywhere along The Greenway; we send updates to the signed up volunteers several days prior to the project. Don’t forget to wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty and closed toed shoes! You will also be asked to sign a waiver before you get started. All training, tools, water and a snack will be provided by our staff!
