The Greenway Food Truck Season Returns—Bigger, Sweeter, and Full of Summer Energy

There’s something special about spring on The Rose Kennedy Greenway—the return of sunshine, the hum of activity downtown, and of course, the unmistakable sign that the season has begun: food trucks lining the park, ready to serve up something delicious.

We’re excited to welcome back the Greenway Food Truck Program for its 2026 season, presented by M&T Bank. Now in its seventeenth year, this beloved program continues to bring together a vibrant mix of local food entrepreneurs, offering fresh, globally inspired cuisine in the heart of Boston. Whether you’re a longtime regular or just stopping by, the Food Truck Program invites you to gather, explore, and connect—with each other and with the city—through food.

What’s New This Season

This year’s lineup brings even more to love, including seven new vendors and an exciting expansion of dessert options. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, you’re in luck—new additions like Crepe Shop, Daddy’s Fried Dough, and Noonan Concessions join the park alongside the ever-popular Cookie Monstah, offering more ways than ever to treat yourself.

You’ll also find bold new flavors and experiences across the park:

  • Lordya Gourmet brings Haitian cuisine to The Greenway—just in time to welcome international visitors as Haiti vs. Scotland approaches.
  • Si Cara Pizzabar introduces a brand-new on-site cooking experience, firing up pizza ovens right in Dewey Square Plaza on Thursdays and Fridays.

Together, these additions create new opportunities to discover something unexpected every time you visit.

Celebrating Longtime Favorites

Alongside these new faces, we’re proud to continue partnerships with vendors who have helped shape the Food Truck Program over the years. Familiar favorites like Chicken & Rice Guys, Moyzilla, Sweet Bubble, and Gogi On The Block return once again—bringing with them the flavors so many visitors have come to know and love.

Their continued presence is a testament to what makes this program so special: a commitment to supporting local businesses and building lasting community connections.

A Season Full of Ways to Gather

The Food Truck Program is just one part of a lively season ahead on The Greenway. Throughout the spring and summer, the park will host a wide range of free, family-friendly events that bring together food, movement, and culture.

Mark your calendar for:

  • The Greenway Food Truck Festival and Greenway Fitness Festival on May 30
  • Truck and Tractor Day on August 7
  • A full lineup of cultural celebrations, live music, and neighborhood festivals—including favorites like Jazz in the Park and Films at the Gate

From morning workouts to evening performances, there’s something happening across the park all season long.

A Perfect Place to Pause (and Celebrate)

As Boston prepares to welcome major events and visitors from around the world this year, The Greenway offers an open, accessible place to gather along the way. Whether you’re heading to an event, meeting friends after work, or simply enjoying a sunny afternoon, the park is a place to pause, take it all in, and be part of the city’s energy.

Grab a bite from a food truck, relax in one of the beverage gardens, cool off by the fountains, or explore seasonal markets and public art installations. With ongoing improvements to areas like Dewey Square Plaza—including enhanced lighting, pathways, and seating—the park continues to evolve as a vibrant, welcoming space for all.

Plan Your Visit

The Greenway Carousel is now open Wednesdays through Sundays, and the Greenway Artisan Market returns in May. Beverage gardens will also reopen for the season, including a new addition from Boston Harbor Distillery and the return of Night Shift Brewing.
